 Since 1990 John Lasley has been the owner of Sure Cuts Lawn Care, which has been a very successful, and continually growing business. In late 1998, John decided to expand Sure Cuts Lawn Care and build storage units in the back of his already existing property, located at 1311 Lafayette Ave. The business was then called Sure Cuts Lawn Care & Storage. Once again John has decided to expand the business in 2001 and purchase Strawberry Hill Nursery, which was located at 1315 Lafayette Ave., North of our existing office. When John purchased the Nursery he decided to incorporate Sure Cuts Lawn Care and Sure Cuts Storage all into Sure Cuts, Inc. We decided to keep the Strawberry Hill Nursery name, since the nursery had been well known in the Boone County area for five years. Since dissolving the mowing side of the business we have now decided to dissolve the Sure Cuts, Inc. name in its entirety.
With the expansion of the business we have also expanded our staff. In addition to John we have a full-time year around Office Manager, a landscaping crew leader, and several full-time and part-time individuals. As stated on the home page our staff is extremely qualified and has been with the company for several years. All of the Strawberry Hill Nursery employees care about their work and make sure that all customers are satisfied when we leave a job.
